The idea to create yet another 5K race in Seattle was the result of Andrew Donaldson, Kevin Sontgerath, and Brandon Schmidt looking for an enjoyable and engaging way to help raise money for their newly formed
Obliteride team benefiting the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. All money raised from the 5K race and the ensuing reception featuring local food and beverages will be applied to the Fundraising Commitment portion of the Obliteride weekend festival.
